This Board shall conduct public hearings at which time all parties, including the licensee or his counsel, or both, may present evidence and/or testimony concerning the denial, suspension or revocation of a license. Business licenses issued by the City include amusements, secondhand dealers, street vending, and scrap metal dealers. The Board in its sound discretion may uphold the notice of denial or revocation or reduce the revocation to a license suspension not exceeding sixty (60) days. The Board may also reduce the number of days the license is to be suspended. The decision of the Board shall be final.

First Tuesday of the month, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The Board shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the City Council for terms of four years. Any vacancy shall be filled by the City Council for the unexpired term.
